Radical FAITH

• Hebrews 11:1

Now FAITH is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. [Italic mine]

• Romans 1:17

For in the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: "The righteous will live by faith."

Oh those verses mean so much to me. Faith is a gift that God gives us - not something we can ever conjure up ourselves. Good thing! The next step is to BELIEVE GOD for whatever promises He has for each of us or for our churches. This kind of faith is RADICAL because it is life-changing! That's a good thing. When you have what's called "radical surgery" on your body for something - they call it that because they get rid of all that is bad, all that is cancer, all that eats away at us. "Radical FAITH" does the same thing - it removes all the hindrances that keep us FROM Believing God for what He shows us!

The Lord often asks me, "Do you TRUST ME?"
I say, "Yes, LORD, I trust YOU.
He then says, "Then Believe ME for it!"

There is no answer from me that can say, "I'll believe You after
You show me."

No, that is NOT faith.
Now Faith is: being SURE of what we HOPE for and certain of what we do NOT SEE!

It's a done deal in heaven. We need to trust and believe Him with it on earth as if the promise has already taken place. We need to believe Him for it as if we have already received it - even visualizing it being done in our minds. That is faith.

I love to watch God work when we trust and believe! It's powerful stuff!

Praise Him in the meantime for that promise fulfilled!
