While We Wait

Are you, perhaps, in a place of waiting for God to do His work - but knowing and accepting that "being still" and "resting in God" [in prayer] is what He requires while you wait for His next move? Often, this place feels like a desert, but it can be a place of great joy, contentment and peace if we think on certain things while we're there.

Philippians 4:6-8

6 Do not be anxious about anything,
but in everything, by prayer and petition,
with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding,
will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
8 Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right,
whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable
if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.




Psalm 5:3

In the morning, O LORD, You hear my voice;
in the morning I lay my requests before You
and wait in expectation.
