Believing the Promises of God - in His Word

Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed… Without weakening in his faith… Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what He had promised. ~ Romans 4 [selected 18-21]

Worldwide Blessings

I don't know where to begin - to share with you all that God did while I was away in Mexico with a hand-picked team of saints who blessed me beyond measure from the beginning of our journey to the end. I am attempting to give you a Link to my photo album here - not sure if it will work. So - Pray and Click!! Click here: Snapfish:Album:Owned

God did make November 1st the very special day that He said it would be from weeks before when He told me to "trust His heart for an explosion of faith" on that day!

God was working [that day] in the heart of a young 16 year old Mexican girl [Lucy] who had pretty much been abandoned by her family. She felt lost and unloved. The women on our team sat down and shared Christ with her for over 45 minutes, each of us taking part in what God had for her. At the end, she received Christ as her Savior, and she was transformed from the inside out. The JOY of Jesus shone on her face for the rest of the time. The Mexican Pastor's family took her in and she now lives with them. They don't waste time - they just love without question.

At almost the same hour - back in the USA - my 7th grandchild was born. Malachi James came in with a struggle and fought for his life as the cord that brought him life was wrapped around his neck twice. He was born face up and the doctors had trouble getting him out. He was not breathing for a long time - but God sustained him and gave him life in spite of the struggle.

Two of the main passages our team shared along our journey in Mexico were these:

Psalm 103 (selected)
1 Praise the LORD, O my soul;
all my inmost being, praise His Holy Name.
2 Praise the LORD, O my soul,
and forget not all His benefits-
3 who forgives all your sins
and heals all your diseases,
4 who redeems your life from the pit
and crowns you with love and compassion,
5 who satisfies your desires with good things
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.
10 He does not treat us as our sins deserve
or repay us according to our iniquities.
11 For as high as the heavens are above the earth,
so great is His love for those who fear Him;
12 as far as the east is from the west,
so far has He removed our transgressions from us.
13 As a father has compassion on His children,
so the LORD has compassion on those who fear Him;
14 for He knows how we are formed,
He remembers that we are dust.
19 The LORD has established His throne in heaven,
and His kingdom rules over all.
20 Praise the LORD, you His angels,
you mighty ones who do His bidding,
who obey His Word.
21 Praise the LORD, all His heavenly hosts,
you His servants who do His will.
22 Praise the LORD, all His works
everywhere in His dominion.
Praise the LORD, O my soul.

2 Corinthians 2:14
But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of Him. [emphasis added]

Choosing JOY,

Stephanie
