19 “Those who hear the warnings of this curse should not congratulate themselves, thinking, ‘I am safe, even though I am following the desires of my own stubborn heart.’ This would lead to utter ruin!

Matthew 7:19-21 (Amplified Bible)
19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and cast into the fire.
20 Therefore, you will fully know them by their fruits.
21 Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father Who is in heaven. [underline, Italic, bold added]
As I was cutting up the fruit for my delicious lunch I came to the last melon - a beautiful green honey melon - perfectly formed on the outside. But when I raised the knife and cut into it - it actually exploded and blew out fumes of gas from the rottenness inside. Now there is some 'fuel' for more intense thought. Whew!
FRUIT can take us on a long journey of thought...

Spoke volumes! May I never be rotten on the inside with only a plastic facade on the outside!
The outside allures and may be pleasing to the eye, but truly it is what's on the inside that nourishes and causes the taste buds to come to life.
Eye candy vs tasty for the soul.
May I be tantalising....tasty.....nutritious. MOUTH WATERING.
To me it (the beautiful melon) is a picture of most false converts...those who look the part on the outside, but there is no real change. There will be many who say "Lord Lord....we did all these things in Your name...and He will say, "Depart from me, I never knew you." Sadly, we know many like this. There is no real fruit in their lives, yet they refuse to see.
May we all belike a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers.
and may it prosper unto the Lord!
