Believing the Promises of God - in His Word

Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed… Without weakening in his faith… Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what He had promised. ~ Romans 4 [selected 18-21]

If You Could've Heard Her Scream...

Psalm 127:3 [KJV]
Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is His reward.

My oldest daughter, Rebekah, posted this on her blog site today. It was worth sharing with all of you, especially those of you with little ones. Becky and her husband and their three kids will be going to Haiti as full-time missionaries in February 2010. I hope they don't have mosquitoes there!!

This story is about my 3 year old granddaughter, Tessa Hope, the only 'girl' of my 8 blessed grandchildren!! She's usually a pretty tough cookie!

Please click on this link to read what happened to her:

Your little granddaughter is so adorable. I pray that they become everything the Lord intends for them as they make their home in Haiti for awhile!
