Believing the Promises of God - in His Word

Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed… Without weakening in his faith… Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what He had promised. ~ Romans 4 [selected 18-21]

The Lord directed me to your blog, I've been wanting to be praying for someone specifically who serves in Haiti and now I have the Thompsons to be praying for. Thanks for sharing and I'm thrilled to be able to pray for your young family who wants to be ministering to those in Haiti. May God give them grace and mercy as they deal with all that has come into their life with this earthquake.

A praise here this day - that Becky and Rob's container is in Haiti - at the epicenter - but it has been located as being in the shipping yard. We praise God for His care over that container. They are leaving for FL - Feb.1st - in the early morning to attend their next phase before departure to Haiti in Mid-March! Please continue to pray for them as we said good-bye to them at a family dinner here tonight. It was bittersweet as many hugs were given and many tears [even silent ones] were shed in our hearts! God will not only go WITH them - He is already there waiting for them!

Thank you for your continued prayers for my children and grandchildren!

Blessings! Stephanie
