Believing the Promises of God - in His Word

Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed… Without weakening in his faith… Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what He had promised. ~ Romans 4 [selected 18-21]

THE GREATEST SACRIFICE

Warning - Graphic scenes ahead...

May We Never Forget The Reason He Came!
John 6
48 I am the bread of life. 49Your forefathers ate manna in the desert, yet they died. 50But here is the bread that comes down from heaven, which a man may eat and not die. 51I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. This bread is My flesh, which I will give for the life of the world."

52Then the Jews began to argue sharply among themselves, "How can this man give us His flesh to eat?"

53Jesus said to them, "I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you. 54Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. 55For My flesh is real food and My blood is real drink. 56Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood remains in Me, and I in him. 57Just as the living Father sent Me and I live because of the Father, so the one who feeds on Me will live because of Me. 58This is the bread that came down from heaven. Your forefathers ate manna and died, but he who feeds on this bread will live forever."

oh, Stephanie. We just want to pretty up that cross when the truth of the matter is it was a bloody, cruel place - full of pain and agony. Our Lord was crucified, but praise God, He Arose and is ALIVE Forevermore!

Love you sister - Beth

I can't watch parts of that. When I went and saw it in the theater, I yelled out "STOP!" when they were beating Him.

I have the book that has the photos from the movie.

Seeing this movie made it more real for me than ever before. You can only gain so much from what you read and imagine.

I am wishing you so many blessings after stopping by Kurt (Krippled Warriors) blog and seeing your comment about going to Jerusalem? I am thrilled for you and can't imagine how much that trip will mean to you and how it will increase your faith.

Can't wait to hear all about it.

Hope you stop by as I am hosting weekly giveaways now on my blog.

Love and Hugs ~ Kat
