Believing the Promises of God - in His Word

Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed… Without weakening in his faith… Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what He had promised. ~ Romans 4 [selected 18-21]

THE BOOK OF RUTH

Another Bible study concluded this past Thursday as our morning group studied the Book of RUTH with great joy and expectation of what God had for us in that little short OT book!

My dear friend, Caroline, wrote this study. Her "Daily Meditations" and "Journey Thoughts" were the homework part of each week and the girls and I loved digging and pondering through all of them. God spoke deeply so that He could bring the response through each of us as He willed!

Thank you for allowing us to use this study to respond to His Heart in our present circumstances. We had many 'words' from the LORD..... one [through Kim] was: "Don't Stop Short!"

We will be meeting one last time on January 5th, 2012, to see what God is going to do in the next few weeks in each of our lives. We didn't want this study to end so this is our way of keeping the Word alive in our hearts until then!

Love with JOY abounding,

Stephanie

What joy it is to pour over God's word with beloved sisters. My group is studying the minor prophets together. Not only do we draw nearer to God in the process, but to each other as well.

Blessings,
Kathleen

P.S. Good to "see" you here, too :)

Dear Stephanie,
What a blessing it is when God's children gather together to study His word in a very personal way - not just for information, but especially to receive insights for heart transformation. You are a blessing... and how lovely it would be to have a copy of that Ruth study. Is it available online?

Journeying with you... with much joy...
