THE TREE!
Cut down...
sacrificed!
Lifeless...
yet full of beauty!
Adorned in fullness for God's splendor!
Evergreen...
Resurrected in its stand...
bringing new life...
Eternal Life !
THE TREE
tells a story...
not just any story...
but God's Story...
the one written before the foundations of the world... not an afterthought... but a well-thought-out plan... a plan of redemption.
We do not worship THE TREE - but the One Who hung on it... exchanging His life for ours!

The same tree in a different flash of light !
The same tree ... adorned at the top by God's Glory!
Do you see it??!!??
ONLY GOD COULD
Do you see it??!!??
ONLY GOD COULD
and ONLY GOD WOULD!
Praise His Holy Name!

Hallelujah!
Luke 2:9-11 (KJV)
And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.
And the angel said unto them,
Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy,
which shall be to all people.
For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour,
For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour,
which is Christ the Lord. [emphasis added]

Hi Stephanie, yes, I'm wondering what that is...looks like angel wings to me! I wanted to stop by and wish you a very Merry Christmas! Have a wonderful week!
blessings,

Lovely analogy of the Tree of Life! Amen! Evergreen for any to partake in His Mercy! Merry Christmas!
That is so cool what you did with the top of your tree! In our Sunday School this past week we learned about the GLORY OF GOD, the Shekinah glory.
Love to you and Mery Christmas my sweet and precious Sister.

Dear Stephanie,
I had goosebumps all over me as I viewed the glory behind the tree, taken in a different light.
Wow, I am feeling God's presence.
The tree is so beautiful, and the significance of it. Lifeless, yet bringing life, a symbol of the evergreen, a place in eternity where the leaves are always green even in a time of drought.
I have so appreciated getting to know you more these past weeks...thank you for leaving such meaty comments at my blog place.
Have a meaningful Christmas season.
Love

I'm sure you are very excited for the 28th to arrive and celebrate the marriage of your son! I'll be praying that it is a glorious day to share!
Blessing to all, Stephanie
Hope your day has been as joy-filled and peaceful as mine. Now, off to some needful rest this night.
peace and blessing, sister.

Great photos of the tree. HOpe your Christmas season continues to be wonderful.
Beautiful tree! I like the analogy too. And the three points of the one evergreen are supposed to represent the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit - three distinct persons in one holy God. Happy New Year!
